Portraits and abstractions in mixed media — faces that surface out of texture, colour and rough, deliberate marks.
CH works in mixed media on canvas: acrylic, charcoal, pigment and resin, layered and then partly taken away again. Faces appear and dissolve; a gesture is left visible where another painter would have covered it.
The collection shown at the gallery is made up entirely of originals — each work painted by hand, signed, and sold once.
